DayTripping to Princeton, NJ

 Princeton NJ September 8, 2018

Lewis Center

Woke up to rain, rain & more rain…decided life is short-who cares if I have a bad hair day and off we went! Princeton, NJ is obviously known for the university, the setting of some amazing films, the home of Albert Einstein, McCarter theater, Nassau Street and Palmer Square.

Our daytrips are meant to inform, to inspire & to intrigue people into getting up, going out and exploring new places closer to home-so if you have already seen all of those sights in Princeton-why go back…? BECAUSE there is so much to DO and to LEARN and to SEE and to EXPERIENCE in and around Princeton! Every time I go to Princeton I admonish myself for not visiting more often and really taking advantage of all that Princeton has to offer-free concerts at the incredible university chapel, tea at the Morven Museum, lectures at the Princeton Public Library (one of my favorites!), the symphony, walking tours, art museum, reasonably priced sports events, (Princeton ice hockey tickets start at 12$-nothing better than sitting at the glass!), tour the churches (they are beautiful and plentiful), explore the interesting architecture and on and on and on! True- the main sites you can see in a day but to truly enrich your soul keep going back! I know I will 🙂
